….We are farmers. We grow rice, corn and soybean. In the past, we harvested lower production and also got lower income.

2018 6th Grade Graduates
There are 12 graduates this year: 5 girls and 7 boys. More than ever before are these children wanting to continue their education in a boarding school, higher level education facility… the nearest one is far outside of their villages, yet they have expressed the desire to continue learning knowing that it means leaving family for months at a time. We are so proud of them!

New Teacher Joining Staff
Setting: Kindergarten school 40 min past Maohjo that ITDP built and oversees. Water project done over 8 years ago by “Bright hope” of New Zealand, and school services preschool and some kindergarten kids. Its a school that sends students on to Maohjo and tis village currently has kids in Maohjo school.
School currently has 22 students.

It is scheduled this year for Monday, April 16 at the Fort Washington Country Club. I always enjoy the event not only because I take part of a day off from work but because it is usually great weather and it is very gratifying to see how many people really support the work of Integrated Tribal Development Program.
