At Lanna Cafe, (Integrated Tribal Development Foundation’s flagship coffee shop in Chiang Mai, Thailand), the mission and promise to their customers is to build brighter futures, one brew at a time!
Through the upcoming, newly constructed Lanna Cafe, we are seeing even greater opportunities to create impact on the lives of the farmers and their families. At the same time we see potential in building a new community within the new cafe location which will be nestled within a new housing development.
At Lanna Cafe, they believe community is built on empowering their customers through educating them on how their coffee is more than just a brew, while providing them a warm and inviting space to gather and enjoy a great cup of coffee and delicious bite to eat.
In the future, there are plans for cupping classes, live demonstrations of the Hands to Heart Women’s Cooperative members weaving their artisan craft, collaborating with community events, and finding new ways to involve and educate their own community to inspire their own customers to make a difference. Word of mouth is the most impactful and economical marketing and what better way to raise awareness of the works of Integrated Tribal Development Foundation (ITDF) and the lives impacted by each cup of coffee brewed.
BUILDING BRIGHTER FUTURES TOGETHER!
Here are a few highlights of the progression of the new cafe build out which will include a back patio overlooking a beautiful landscaped environment, a sustainable garden for cafe and staff meal prep, and a mural depicting the projects of ITDF created by a local artist.
